Land Cruiser Jeep Stolen at Gunpoint in Abuja

On Saturday, around 5:12 PM, a Land Cruiser Jeep with a private number plate marked "Ipinu 1 Abuja," belonging to Prince Toni Idikwu, was reportedly snatched at gunpoint in Abuja. Prince Toni Idikwu is a candidate for the House of Representatives for the Oju Obi Federal Constituency in Abia State for the 2027 general elections.

The incident occurred while the vehicle was being test-driven by a mechanic in the Lokogoma area. Unknown individuals flagged down the mechanic and subsequently drove off with the Jeep.

Prince Toni Idikwu is also known as the Chief Executive Officer of Global Resource Limited, recognized for his humanitarian efforts in the Abia State community. When contacted, the spokesperson for the FCT Police Command, SP Adeh Josephine, stated that the incident had not been reported to the police and advised the victim to go to the nearest police station to file a report.
