Laolu Akande Marks 7th Anniversary of Surviving Helicopter Crash During Campaign Event

Laolu Akande, a member of Vice President Osinbajo's team, commemorated the 7th anniversary of surviving a helicopter crash landing in Kabba during a campaign tour for President Buhari and Vice President Osinbajo in 2019. The incident occurred as part of their re-election bid campaign, with 12 occupants on board, including Osinbajo.

Despite the crash landing, there were no fatalities, and Akande described the experience as a testimony of divine intervention. The delegation continued their campaign activities after a brief rest at a nearby hotel.

Akande expressed gratitude for being alive and emphasized the importance of remembering the incident as a moment of thanksgiving.
