Lagos State Launches 2026 Welfare Package for Pensioners

The event took place at the Agidingbi event center in Ikeja, where Babalola Obilana, the Director General of the Lagos State Pension Commission, presided over the distribution of welfare items.

This initiative is part of a broader commitment by the Lagos State government under Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu's administration, which recognizes the importance of supporting retirees. Obilana described the welfare package as a symbol of gratitude and concern for those who have dedicated years to public service.

The distribution was designed to reach all administrative divisions, including Badagry and Ikorodu, ensuring that retirees statewide could participate without difficulty. The event was also attended by Bode Agoro, representing the Permanent Secretary of the Public Service Office, and Olasunkanmi Oyegbola, who reflected on the government's ongoing commitment to its retirees.
