LASTMA Awards Three Officers for Outstanding Service

The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) has honored three of its officers for their outstanding performance and commitment to public service. Adebayo Taofiq, the Director of the Public Affairs and Enlightenment Department, announced this recognition in a statement.

The recipients of the “Award of Outstanding Exemplary Performance” are Ajayi Bembe Babatunde, Zonal Head of Zone B; Adebanjo Alade, Comptroller of Apapa; and Age Luqman, Zonal Head of Bariga/Iyana-Oworo. Taofiq stated that the award aims to recognize public officers whose diligence and integrity contribute to institutional objectives and the public interest.

During the presentation, LASTMA's General Manager, Olalekan Bakare-Oki, expressed gratitude to City Herald Magazine for acknowledging the efforts of LASTMA personnel. He emphasized that such recognition affirms the hard work of LASTMA officers who manage traffic and promote road safety under challenging conditions.

Bakare-Oki also noted that recognizing individual excellence would enhance the authority’s commitment to professionalism and public service.
