LASWA and NIWA Launch Safety Campaign for Lagos Waterways

LASWA and NIWA have jointly launched a safety campaign for Lagos waterways during the festive season, focusing on ensuring the safety of passengers and preventing accidents. The campaign includes enforcing the use of life jackets, maintaining passenger manifests, conducting routine vessel checks, and monitoring weather conditions.

Passengers are urged to support safety efforts by wearing life jackets and reporting unsafe practices. LASWA and NIWA reaffirm their commitment to working with stakeholders to provide a safe and reliable water transport experience in Lagos.
