N3.5 Billion Road Network Commissioned in Sokoto State

Senator Orji Uzor Kalu commissioned the N3.5 billion Arikilla layout road network in Wamakko Local Government Area, Sokoto State, as part of the activities marking the third anniversary of Governor Ahmadu Aliyu's administration. Kalu praised Aliyu's infrastructure initiatives, which include ongoing projects like the construction of a new departure terminal at Sultan Abubakar III International Airport.

He emphasized the importance of the road network in driving economic growth and improving residents' quality of life. Governor Aliyu described the project as a significant milestone in his administration's commitment to providing essential services and modern infrastructure.

He noted that the road network would enhance access, reduce travel time, and create economic opportunities for residents and business owners. Aliyu urged citizens to protect the infrastructure and keep drainage channels clear to ensure sustainable service delivery.
