Lawmaker’s Wife Begins Free Medical Outreach In Ebonyi

Mary Chinedu Ogah, the wife of a lawmaker representing a federal constituency in Ebonyi State, has initiated a free medical outreach program for rural women in the area. The outreach aims to provide early diagnosis of diseases and distributed food items worth a million naira to alleviate suffering.

The event, attended by a large number of women, emphasized the importance of promoting peace, love, and unity within families and communities. Ogah stressed the need for women to be pillars of their families and to collaborate peacefully with their husbands to prevent domestic violence.

The state governor, Nwifuru, commended the initiative and urged other stakeholders to partner in enhancing the living standards of women in society. Ogah also praised President Bola Tinubu and the state governor for creating an enabling environment for such initiatives.

She called on individuals and lawmakers to support and empower rural women who are in need of assistance.
