League of Bauchi Professionals Endorses Tuggar for Governor

The League of Bauchi Professionals officially endorsed Yusuf Maitama Tuggar for the governorship of Bauchi State in the upcoming 2026-2027 electoral cycle. This endorsement was announced in a statement issued by the group's press secretary, Ibrahim B.

Yusuf, following a meeting held in Bauchi during the Eid celebrations. The group described Tuggar as a statesman with global exposure and leadership experience that can translate into tangible development outcomes for Bauchi State.

They emphasized the need for leadership that blends the state's rich heritage with a modern governance vision, which they believe Tuggar embodies. The endorsement is anchored on four key pillars of Tuggar's leadership framework: trust, truth, accountability, and a strong sense of duty.

The group highlighted Tuggar's public service record, including his tenure as a member of the House of Representatives for Gamawa Federal Constituency from 2007 to 2011 and his current role as Nigeria's ambassador to Germany. They called on stakeholders and citizens across the state's 20 local government areas to support his candidacy in the forthcoming political process.
