Ahmad Urges Kwankwaso to Leave NDC Over Unfair Treatment

Bashir Ahmad, a former aide to the president, has advised Rabiu Kwankwaso, a vice presidential candidate for the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), to leave the party if he feels unfairly treated. Ahmad made this statement in a post addressing the situation surrounding Kwankwaso, who has expressed concerns about being sidelined within the NDC.

He emphasized that if Kwankwaso genuinely believes he is being treated unfairly in the party's national leadership, the best course of action would be to exit the NDC and seek a political platform that aligns with his ambitions. Ahmad's comments reflect the ongoing tensions within the NDC, particularly regarding the treatment of its members and the dynamics of the Kwankwasiyya faction in Kano State.

He suggested that remaining in a party where one feels constrained and marginalized is not ideal, and instead, Kwankwaso should seek a platform that allows him to compete freely.
