Legacy FM GM Suspended For Criticising Governor Nwifuru

Legacy FM's acting General Manager, Odoh Chikwere, has been suspended for allegedly criticizing Governor Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi State. The radio station accused Chikwere of unruly behavior and violating the code of conduct.

In a Facebook post, Chikwere criticized the governor's administration for poor communication, underperforming appointees, and lacking policy direction. He urged the governor to take bold action to strengthen his support base.

In response, the Governor's Chief Press Secretary, Monday Uzor, dismissed the criticism as unfounded and baseless, emphasizing that Governor Nwifuru has made significant development efforts. Uzor highlighted the State Government's support for the radio station and criticized its lack of balanced reporting on government activities.

Governor Nwifuru's administration has been praised for its goodwill and genuine development efforts.
