Bob-Manuel Udokwu: Life Easier for Women than Men

Bob-Manuel Udokwu, a veteran Nollywood actor, expressed in an interview that he believes life is generally easier for women than for men. He argued that male actors often bear heavier financial responsibilities compared to their female counterparts.

Udokwu's remarks came in the context of discussions surrounding the financial demands placed on actors, particularly following the appeal for financial assistance during the illness of late actor John Okafor, popularly known as Mr. Ibu.

He noted that many people mistakenly assume that actors earn enough money to avoid financial difficulties, without considering their responsibilities outside of their careers. Udokwu emphasized that the reality is different, as he experienced challenges in raising funds for Okafor's treatment, which highlighted the financial struggles within the profession.

He also mentioned that people did not understand the true financial realities faced by actors, including his own personal circumstances.
