Liverpool Secures £123 Million Deal for Barcola Transfer

Liverpool Football Club has reached an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain for the transfer of France forward Bradley Barcola, valued at up to £123 million. The deal consists of an initial payment of £106 million, with an additional £17 million available in performance-related add-ons.

PSG had initially set Barcola's price at £145 million. The 23-year-old forward, who typically plays on the left wing but can also operate on the right or centrally, is expected to complete his medical examination this weekend before signing a long-term contract with Liverpool.

His transfer may create uncertainty regarding the future of teammate Cody Gakpo, who has attracted interest from Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City. Liverpool is also looking to strengthen their right-wing position, considering players like Yankuba Minteh from Brighton and Ismaila Sarr from Crystal Palace.

Barcola joined PSG from Lyon in 2023 for £38.5 million and has won multiple titles, including three Ligue 1 championships and two Champions League trophies.
