Unuavworho Triumphs at 2026 Africa Re Golf Tournament

Unuavworho emerged as the winner of the 2026 Africa Re golf tournament, which took place at the Ikoyi Club 1938. He secured victory with a total of 38 stableford points, finishing two points ahead of runner-up Anci Okoebor and third-place Obinna Okwoji, both of whom recorded 36 points.

Unuavworho expressed his delight at the win and acknowledged the preparation that contributed to his success. The tournament, which is part of the activities marking the 50th anniversary of Africa Re, was organized by Temitop Akinowa, the Regional Director for Anglophone West Africa at Africa Re.

The event attracted top executives and golfers, reinforcing the corporation's commitment to supporting sports and economic growth across the continent. Other notable achievements included Olaid Adekoya and Yetund Ojo winning in the ladies' stableford division, while Segun Adekoya claimed the men's longest drive prize.

The team event saw Davisth Broker Ltd finish first in the insurance category with 65 stableford points.
