Local Web Hosting Can Drive Nigeria's GDP Growth

The boss of HoganHost stated that local web hosting has the potential to boost Nigeria's GDP growth. They highlighted the company's commitment to shutting down fraudulent websites and ensuring client data protection.

Over the past two years, HoganHost has terminated around 15 websites involved in criminal activities. The company aims to improve service standards, uptime guarantees, and data protection to foster client trust.

They noted that local hosting providers face challenges such as inconsistent uptime, technical support issues, and infrastructural limitations, which affect their competitiveness against foreign companies. HoganHost has been operational for seven years as of September 9 and is accredited across several African markets, including Kenya, Uganda, Nigeria, Rwanda, and South Africa.

The company is focused on investing in stronger infrastructure and better support systems to enhance service delivery and build confidence among clients.
