Tragic Accident Claims Lives of Three Kwara Health Workers

On a Saturday afternoon around 3 PM, a fatal accident occurred on the Ok Onigbin-Omu Aran highway in Kwara State, claiming the lives of three female health workers who were members of the Medical Health Workers Union. The incident involved a commercial Mazda vehicle with registration number ARP627KI, which lost control after a tire burst while traveling at high speed.

According to Kabir Kazeem, the Kwara State sector commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), the crash involved seven individuals, with three fatalities and four injuries. The FRSC promptly deployed a rescue team to the scene, evacuating the injured to a hospital in Omu Aran.
