Kebbi PDP Rep Ibrahim Moham Defects to APC

Ibrahim Moham, the only representative from the People's Democratic Party (PDP) in Kebbi State, has formally announced his defection to the All Progressives Congress (APC). He cited ongoing leadership crises and internal conflicts within the PDP as significant factors influencing his decision.

Moham stated that the unresolved leadership challenges and prolonged litigations have considerably weakened the PDP's capacity to function as a credible political platform. This situation has made it increasingly difficult for committed members to contribute effectively to the party's growth and democratic responsibilities.

Following extensive consultations with his constituents and political stakeholders, he concluded that joining the APC would serve the best interests of his constituency and enhance his ability to deliver effective representation. His resignation letter was duly submitted to the PDP ward chairman of Nasarawa 1 ward, and he formally notified the Speaker of the House of Representatives of his defection.
