LOTUS Bank Collaborates with FG on Green Mobility Initiative

LOTUS Bank has entered a strategic collaboration with the Federal Government of Nigeria to support the CNG and EV Green Mobility Initiative, which aims to accelerate the adoption of cleaner and more sustainable mobility alternatives. This initiative was launched during an event in Kano State, where Deputy Chief of Staff Ibrahim Hadeja represented Vice President Kashim Shettima.

Hadeja described the initiative as a critical economic strategy designed to reduce transportation costs, strengthen energy security, and improve the living standards of Nigerians. Dr.

Isiaka Ajani Lawal, the Managing Director and CEO of LOTUS Bank, emphasized the bank's commitment to supporting transformative and sustainable initiatives that can deliver long-term economic and social impacts. The bank plans to develop financial solutions across the CNG value chain, including the integration of energy hubs and clean mobility asset acquisition.

Nazif Ibrahim, the bank's regional head for Northeast and Northwest, assured that sustainable finance extends beyond transactions to create meaningful impacts within communities.
