Tekno Claims Love Has Changed Since 2020 Lockdown

In a recent interview with Cool FM Lagos, Nigerian singer Augustin Kelechi, popularly known as Tekno, discussed the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on love and relationships. He claimed that since 2020, love has not been the same, as people grew fatigued with their partners during the lockdown.

Tekno suggested that the pandemic caused many individuals to spend extended time with their lovers, leading them to realize they might not truly love their partners as they thought. He noted that marriage rates have declined and infidelity has increased since 2020.

Tekno also remarked that the essence of love has changed, with many people leaning away from wanting love or marriage, and he criticized the current state of romantic movies, stating they revolve around clout rather than genuine love.
