APC Critiques Opposition for Missing INEC Candidate Deadline

The All Progressives Congress (APC) issued a statement from its national public secretary, Felix Morka, mocking opposition parties for their failure to meet the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) deadline of July 11 for candidate submissions. The APC successfully uploaded the names of its presidential, vice-presidential, senatorial, and House of Representatives candidates by the deadline.

Following an appeal from the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC), INEC extended the deadline to midnight on July 14. The APC expressed satisfaction with its compliance with INEC's requirements, contrasting it with the opposition's inability to complete their nomination processes within the stipulated period.

The APC noted that despite having a larger number of candidates, the opposition parties failed to manage their internal processes effectively, raising questions about their operational capacity and readiness to govern.
