LP Faction Hails Court Order On INEC Access Codes

The Labour Party faction's National Publicity Secretary has welcomed a Nasarawa State High Court decision ordering INEC to provide access codes to the party's authentic leadership. The faction accused INEC of deliberately frustrating their candidates, citing a previous incident in Ondo State.

The court order, delivered on July 23, 2025, by Justice Mustapha Ramat, recognized Julius Abure Umar Farouk Ibrahim as the authentic leader of the Labour Party. The court also directed INEC to provide the faction with access codes to upload the names of their nominated candidates for the upcoming FCT Area Council election.

The faction urged its members to remain undaunted and show an indomitable spirit, as they believe the Labour Party is capable of securing victory despite challenges. They emphasized that they will no longer tolerate INEC's tactics and are ready to fight for their rights.
