Labour Party Gains Control of Abia Assembly as PDP Member Defects to LP

In a significant political development in Abia State, Godwin Adiele, a member representing Ukwa West Constituency, defected from the People's Democratic Party (PDP) to the Labour Party (LP). Adiele, a former staunch PDP member, resigned from the PDP, citing Governor Alex Otti's good governance as his reason for joining LP.
