LSSTF's Ayo Ogunsan Promises Support for Security Operations

On April 16, 2026, Ayo Ogunsan, the Chief Executive Officer of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF), visited the Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Special Offences Unit at their headquarters, where he commended their role in maintaining environmental order and enforcing laws across Lagos State. During the visit, Ogunsan acknowledged the agency's contributions in tackling urban challenges and noted the ongoing risks they face while addressing multiple social and environmental issues.

He assured the agency of increased support from the LSSTF to enhance its operational capacity for effective response. Adetayo Akerel, the chairman of the taskforce, expressed appreciation for Ogunsan's visit and the continued support provided by the LSSTF, which includes equipping the agency with operational tools.

The visit concluded with the presentation of a commemorative plaque showcasing the agency's activities over the past year.
