LSSTF Launches Training for Security Operatives in Lagos

On March 25, 2026, the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF) initiated a two-day training program for security operatives at Gbagada, Lagos State. The program focuses on enhancing professional capacity, ethical standards, and inter-agency collaboration among personnel from police, military, and security agencies.

Dr. Ayodel Ogunsan, Executive Secretary and CEO of LSSTF, emphasized the program's relevance in today's dynamic security environment, particularly due to Lagos's rapid growth and increasing security challenges.

Over the next ten months, LSSTF aims to train a total of 1,000 security personnel. The training, themed "Enhancing Professional Capacity, Ethical Standards, and Inter-Agency Collaboration for Effective Security Operations," will introduce modern approaches to security management.

Dr. Wale Adeagbo from Halogen Group highlighted the importance of situational awareness and critical thinking in security operations.

Brigadier General Ayokunle Owolabi of the Nigerian Army underscored the necessity of inter-agency collaboration to effectively tackle security challenges.
