Ogunsan's First 100 Days: New Vision for Lagos Security

In his first 100 days as Executive Secretary of the Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF), Dr. Ayodel Ogunsan has set a new pace for the organization with an ambitious roadmap aimed at strengthening the security framework of Lagos State.

Key initiatives include enhancing the fund's financial base through new fundraising channels, engaging high-level stakeholders, and reviving retail donation platforms. Ogunsan disclosed plans to deploy 80 additional patrol vehicles and commence repairs on abandoned armored personnel carriers.

He introduced a monitoring team to ensure accountability for donated assets and announced a partnership with the Nigerian Air Force for aerial surveillance. The LSSTF aims to mobilize resources from corporate organizations, public institutions, and individuals to bolster security architecture in Lagos.

Ogunsan emphasized the need for innovative partnerships and proper equipment for security agencies, reflecting the evolving security landscape. His tenure has already seen the organization of a high-level fundraising breakfast meeting to reinforce shared responsibilities in enhancing security.
