LSSTF Launches Intelligence Unit and Security Tip Lines

The Lagos State Security Trust Fund (LSSTF) has launched an Intelligence Unit and unveiled two dedicated security tip lines aimed at strengthening intelligence gathering and improving collaboration between residents and security agencies across Lagos State. The announcement was made by the Executive Secretary of LSSTF, Ayodel Ogunsan, during an event held at the LSSTF headquarters in Alausa, Ikeja.

The two dedicated security tip lines, 0911 019 5555 and 0916 201 1179, allow Lagos residents to send video, photographs, and voice notes related to security concerns within their communities. Ogunsan emphasized that this initiative is designed to deepen intelligence-led policing and enhance the state's security architecture through active citizen participation.

The platform encourages the flow of actionable intelligence while maintaining confidentiality and professional handling of information. Ogunsan also warned against the misuse of the platform, stressing the importance of submitting credible and verified information to avoid undermining security operations.
