MAAUN Kano Matriculates 1,056 Students for 2025/2026

The fifth matriculation ceremony of MAAUN Kano took place, officially admitting 1,056 students for the 2025/2026 academic session. The event was presided over by Prof.

Dr. Mohammad Israr, who described the ceremony as a formal induction into the academic community.

He congratulated the students on securing admission and noted that MAAUN is currently ranked as Nigeria's second-best private university according to the Scientific Index global academic ranking platform. Prof.

Israr mentioned the university's commitment to expanding its academic and research footprint through strategic investments and global partnerships, having signed 70 memoranda of understanding with institutions in 31 countries. He highlighted that 80 percent of the student population comprises female students, reflecting MAAUN's commitment to empowering future leaders through quality education.

Founder Prof. Abubakar Adamu Gwarzo warned students against drug abuse and social vices, urging them to uphold good character and adhere strictly to the university's rules and regulations.
