Manchester United's JJ Gabriel Visits Barcelona Amid Interest

JJ Gabriel, a 15-year-old forward currently with Manchester United, has traveled to Barcelona as multiple top European clubs, including Bayern Munich and Paris St-Germain, express interest in signing him. Gabriel left the UK on Thursday and initially went to France before arriving in Barcelona.

Manchester United retains his registration, which would prevent him from moving to another English club until the end of the season. However, if Gabriel obtains a European Union passport through his father, a former Republic of Ireland international, or his mother, who has Greek-Cypriot heritage, he could join a club in the EU when he turns 16 on October 6, 2026.

Gabriel has not participated in training with United since scoring a hat-trick on his UEFA Youth League debut on September 10, 2026, as tournament rules restrict him from playing for any other side in this season's competition.
