Madumere Urges Imo Students to Reject Vices and Work Hard

Princ Ez Madumere, the former Deputy Governor of Imo State, addressed students at the Federal Polytechnic Nekede during a skill program on Wednesday. He encouraged Nigerian students to work hard and shun social vices, particularly the get-rich-quick syndrome.

Madumere stressed the need for students to develop creativity, leadership skills, and a global mindset to contribute to the sustainable development of the nation. He highlighted that the future belongs to those who acquire skills and knowledge, urging students to become job creators rather than mere job seekers.

He noted that true wealth lies in the mind and creativity of young people, especially in a world increasingly influenced by artificial intelligence and digital technology. Madumere also warned against cultism, drug abuse, and internet fraud, asserting that success built on dishonesty is fleeting.

He called for mentorship and opportunities to help youth in Imo State flourish as innovators and entrepreneurs.
