Madumere Urges Hope for 2027 Elections and Healthcare

Prince Eze Madumere, the former Deputy Governor of Imo State and a senatorial hopeful for the Owerri zone under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), called on electorates and stakeholders to maintain hope as the 2027 elections approach. Speaking at the Faculty of Health Science Students Association’s Medical Outreach event, he introduced his campaign platform, “Journey of Grace,” which includes a structured blueprint to address the healthcare needs of Imo State citizens.

Madumere stressed the importance of preventive healthcare systems and community-based health interventions, highlighting the outreach's role in reducing disease burdens through early detection and public awareness. He praised the Faculty of Health Science Students’ Association at Imo State University for their successful health outreach, which provided services such as BMI assessments, HIV screening, and health education.

Madumere encouraged students to focus on their studies and community service, asserting that society needs compassionate young leaders.
