Uba Sani Revives Makarfi Hospital, Enhances Healthcare

Governor Uba Sani has undertaken a significant reconstruction project for Makarfi General Hospital, addressing decades of neglect. District Head Alhaji Adamu Abdullahi stated that the hospital, established in the early 1970s, had not received major renovations or modern medical equipment for four decades until the current administration's intervention.

This transformation aims to improve healthcare delivery and quality of life for residents who previously struggled with inadequate services and had to travel long distances for treatment. The project is part of a broader healthcare transformation program in Kaduna State, with Hajiya Umma K.

Ahmad, the Commissioner for Health, emphasizing the administration's commitment to strengthening healthcare infrastructure and expanding access to affordable services. The upgrade has already alleviated financial burdens for families seeking treatment outside the local government area, restoring public confidence in healthcare services.

Makarfi General Hospital is among sixteen hospitals currently undergoing modernization under Governor Uba Sani's administration.
