Makinde to Inaugurate APM Campaign Council in Oyo

Oyo State Governor and Presidential Candidate of the Allied People’s Movement (APM), Engr. Seyi Makinde, is set to inaugurate the party’s Oyo State Presidential and Governorship Campaign Council on Friday at 3:30 p.m.

The event will take place in the Conference Room of the Governor’s Office, Secretariat, Agodi, Ibadan. A statement from the governor’s Special Adviser on Media, Dr.

Sulaimon Olanrewaju, indicated that the council is formed to coordinate the party’s campaigns and enhance grassroots mobilization for the upcoming 2027 general elections. Dr.

Nureni Adeniran has been appointed as the Oyo State Coordinator of the APM 2027 Presidential Campaign and Director-General of the Governorship Campaign Council. Other key appointments include Hon.

Saheed Arowosaye as Deputy State Coordinator of the presidential campaign and various deputy directors for different senatorial districts. Makinde emphasized the strategic nature of these appointments, aiming for inclusive politics and effective grassroots engagement.

He expressed confidence in the campaign team’s ability to secure victories in both elections.
