Makinde to Launch APM Campaign Council in Oyo State

Oyo State Governor and presidential candidate of the Allied People’s Movement (APM), Seyi Makinde, is set to inaugurate the party’s Oyo State Presidential and Governorship Campaign Council on Friday at 3:30 p.m. The event will take place in the Conference Room of the Governor’s Office, as preparations for the 2027 general election intensify.

A release from Dr. Sulaimon Olanrewaju, the Special Adviser (Media) to the Governor, indicated that key party officials and campaign leaders will be unveiled during the inauguration. Dr. Nureni Adeniran, the Executive Chairman of the Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), will serve as the Oyo State Coordinator of the APM 2027 Presidential Campaign and Director-General of the Oyo State Governorship Campaign Council.

Other appointments include Hon. Saheed Arowosaye as Deputy State Coordinator, Hon. Demola Ojo as Deputy Director-General (South), and Dr. Femi Ojo and Alhaji Siju Lawal as Deputy Directors-General for Oyo Central and Oyo North Senatorial Districts, respectively. The campaign structure also includes Hon. Ramata Agberemi Dabo as Director of the Women’s Wing and Hon. Kazeem Bolarinwa as Director of the Youth Wing.
