Fayose Accuses Makinde of Plotting Against Olubadan

Ayodele Fayose, the former governor of Ekiti State, has accused Seyi Makinde, the current governor of Oyo State, of not relenting in a plot to dethrone the Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Rashidi Ladoja. This assertion was made during Fayose's solidarity visit to the monarch at his private residence in Bodija, Ibadan.

Fayose claimed that Makinde's alleged plan to remove the traditional ruler is based on credible information and not speculation. He emphasized that the truth behind the situation would soon be revealed, indicating that there are deeper issues at play.

Fayose also noted that recent developments suggest a coordinated effort against the monarch, warning that the outcome remains uncertain. He expressed confidence in the Olubadan institution and stated that the matter would be resolved amicably by the elders of Ibadan.

Oba Ladoja expressed gratitude for Fayose's visit and highlighted the importance of resolving disputes within the community.
