Fayose Accuses Makinde of Plotting Against Olubadan

Ayo Fayose, the former governor of Ekiti State, has accused Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde of plotting to remove the Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja. This allegation arises following the Olubadan's absence from a recent coronation ceremony, which Fayose claims is part of a broader scheme by Makinde.

Fayose stated that he has reliable information regarding the governor's intentions, suggesting that the plot began with an official inquiry into the Olubadan's absence from the coronation event held two weeks prior. In response, the Olubadan's palace has categorically dismissed these claims, describing them as unfounded and asserting that there is no rift between the traditional ruler and the state government.

The palace clarified that the Olubadan did not deliberately avoid the ceremony and emphasized that he is committed to performing his expected roles. The palace urged the public to disregard these unverifiable claims.
