MakTown Flyers Ready to Represent Nigeria at BAL

The MakTown Flyers have been urged to be worthy ambassadors for Nigeria at the Basketball Africa League (BAL) following their recent success in the Nigeria Basketball League 2025, where they defeated River Hoopers to clinch a ticket to the BAL. Igoch Mark visited the team’s camp in Abuja, emphasizing the need for players to redouble their efforts and maintain their promise of continued support.

He assured the team of comfort and urged them to play their part effectively. Team captain Bright Akuiet expressed gratitude for the consistent support and assured that the team would not let the country down.

The experienced coach Abdurahman Muhammad, who led the team to victory, expressed confidence in their ability to perform well in Morocco, stating that they would make Nigeria proud.
