Maktown Flyers Coach Optimistic Ahead of BAL Debut

Abdulrahman Moham, the coach of Maktown Flyers, has expressed strong confidence in his squad's potential as they prepare for their debut in the Basketball Africa League (BAL). The team is set to begin their campaign in the Sahara Conference group phase against JCA King on Saturday at the Princ Moulai Abdellah Sport Complex.

The tournament will feature teams from 12 African countries, with a total of 42 games played across the conference phase. The Kalahari Conference group phase will take place from March 27 to April 5 in Pretoria, while the Sahara Conference will run until May 3.

Despite acknowledging that the players are yet to gain exposure at the BAL level, Moham remains optimistic about their chances, emphasizing the importance of building team chemistry and leveraging the experience of former international players. He urged his players to compete with heart and pride, reminding them of the honor of representing their continent.
