Malami Launches 600-Member ADC Campaign Council in Kebbi

On Wednesday, Abubakar Malami (SAN), the former Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, inaugurated a 600-member campaign council for the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Kebbi State. As the party's governorship candidate, Malami called for unity, reconciliation, and issue-based politics in preparation for the 2027 general elections.

He emphasized that the council's formation was not just about appointing officials but marked the start of a coordinated effort to spread the ADC's message throughout the state's 21 local government areas. Malami highlighted the council's diverse composition, representing various communities and senatorial districts.

He acknowledged the party’s senatorial candidates, including Gen Aminu Bande (retd.) for Kebbi Central, Garba Maidoki for Kebbi South, and Chiroman Kabi, Alhaji Mera for Kebbi North. Malami urged members to avoid tribalism and personal rivalries, advocating for reconciliation and trust-building among members.

He introduced the theme “One ADC, One Campaign,” stressing the importance of collective interests over personal ambitions.
