Malami Urges ADC Unity Ahead of 2027 Elections

Abubakar Malami, the governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Kebbi State and a former Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, called for unity among party members as they prepare for the 2027 general elections. During the inauguration of the 600-member ADC Campaign Council, Malami warned that political ambitions should not disrupt relationships among members and supporters.

He stressed that life would continue beyond the elections, urging members to resolve differences through dialogue rather than public confrontations. Malami stated, “After the elections, we will continue to worship together, go to the same markets, celebrate together, grieve together, and raise our children together.” He encouraged members to prioritize collective interests over personal ambitions, advocating for unity, cooperation, and respect within the party.
