Malami Urges ADC Unity Ahead of 2027 Elections

Abubakar Malami, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) governorship candidate in Kebbi State and former Attorney General of the Federation, addressed party members during the inauguration of the 600-member ADC Campaign Council. He stressed the importance of unity within the party as they prepare for the 2027 general elections.

Malami stated that no political ambition is worth causing division or disagreement among members. He encouraged reconciliation and open communication to resolve grievances, highlighting that after the elections, members would continue to share communal spaces such as markets and places of worship.

Malami declared, “We choose unity over division. We choose cooperation over rivalry,” emphasizing the need for respect and service to the community over personal interests.

His remarks aimed to foster a collaborative spirit within the ADC as they approach the upcoming electoral period.
