Malaysia to Host MIHA 2026 Trade Fair for Nigerians

Malaysia is set to showcase business opportunities for Nigerians and others at the 22nd edition of the Malaysia International Halal Showcase (MIHA 2026), scheduled for September 2026 at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) in Kuala Lumpur. The event, recognized as the world's largest halal trade event, aims to connect international businesses with verified halal product and service suppliers.

Dass, the Trade Counsellor at the High Commission of Malaysia in Nigeria, noted that MIHA 2026 serves as an ideal platform for Nigerian exporters to showcase their products and identify potential partners. The event will feature 14 carefully curated halal product categories, including food, beverages, modest fashion, and technology.

The High Commission of Malaysia in Nigeria, represented by H.E. Aiyub Omar, emphasized that MIHA 2026 will support Nigeria's aspirations to become a key player in the global halal economy.

The event will also include a buyer program aimed at facilitating market entry and distribution partnerships within Malaysia and the wider ASEAN market.
