Man Arrested for Stabbing Grandparents to Death in Kano Food Dispute

In Kano, Mutawakilu Ibrahim, 30, was arrested for allegedly stabbing his grandparents, Muhammad Dansokoto, 75, and Hadiza Tasidi, 65, to death over a food dispute. The Kano police reported that the suspect attacked his grandparents with a knife during an altercation, leading to their fatal injuries.

The victims were rushed to the hospital but succumbed to their wounds. Ibrahim was arrested under suspicion of being under the influence of an intoxicant during the incident.

The Kano Police Commissioner directed the case to be transferred for further investigation, with the suspect expected to face charges in court upon completion of the inquiry.
