Tragic Incident: Man Stabs Grandparents to Death Over Food Dispute in Kano

In Kano State, a man named Mutawakilu Ibrahim was arrested by the police for allegedly stabbing his grandparents to death during an argument over food. The tragic incident occurred at their residence in Kofar Dawanau Quarters, Dala Local Government Area.

Ibrahim, reportedly under the influence of an intoxicant, attacked his 75-year-old grandfather and 65-year-old grandmother with a knife, leading to fatal injuries. The bodies were later released to the family for burial according to Islamic rites.

The case has been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department for further investigation, shedding light on the concerning rise of violent crimes within families.
