Manchester City Signs Teen Winger Jeremi Monga on Deal

Manchester City has signed 17-year-old winger Jeremi Monga from Leicester City on a five-year deal, announced on Saturday. Monga made his English top-flight debut for Leicester City at just 15 years old and has played 37 times for the club, becoming their youngest player to start a game.

The transfer fee is reported to be worth £10 million, with potential add-ons bringing it to £13 million. Monga's contract with Manchester City will run until 2031, making him the third English player to join the club during the current transfer window under new manager Enzo Maresca.

Monga featured for Leicester City as a second-half substitute in their 3-0 defeat to Newcastle in April 2025 and made his first start in the League Cup against Huddersfield in August 2025. He is also the third youngest player to feature in the Premier League, following Ethan Nwaneri and Max Dowman.
