Tragic Incident in Oyo State: Man Dies Rescuing Goat from Well

In Oyo State, a 30-year-old man named Shina Adedeji tragically died while trying to rescue a goat from a deep well in separate incidents in Ogbomoso and Saki. The Special Adviser to Governor Seyi Makinde on Fire and Rescue, Moroof Akinwande, disclosed that Adedeji fell into the well in Ogbomoso on Tuesday, while the second incident occurred in Saki on Monday.

The Oyo State Fire Service received distress calls in both cases and successfully recovered the bodies of the victims. The incidents serve as a reminder to prioritize safety in daily activities, as risking one's life for animals can lead to tragic outcomes.

The Fire Service Chairman warned the public to always prioritize safety to avoid similar occurrences.
