Tragic Death in Kano: Man Dies Trying to Retrieve Gas Cylinder from Well

In Kano State, a 30-year-old man, Ashahabu Ubal, lost his life while trying to retrieve a burning gas cylinder from a well in Gwarzo Local Government Area. The Kano State Fire Service confirmed the incident, emphasizing the risks of entering confined spaces without adequate safety precautions.

The victim suffocated due to the release of displaced oxygen from the cylinder. The fire service personnel rescued him unconscious, but he was later pronounced dead.

PC Muhammad Zakiyyu of the Gwarzo Police Division handled the case. This tragedy serves as a warning to residents to avoid entering wells or confined spaces without proper safety measures.
