Man Charged Over Dispute on Lagos Church Property

Olusola Shedrach has been arraigned at the Lagos State High Court in Ikeja before Justice Hakeem Oshodi over a dispute concerning property belonging to Harvest Church located along Gbagada Oworonshoki Expressway. He faces three charges, including allegations of forceful takeover, property damage, and conduct capable of causing a breach of peace, which contravene the Lagos State Property Protection Law of 2016 and the Criminal Law of Lagos State of 2015.

During the proceedings, state prosecutor Olufunmilayo Aluko urged the court to consider Shedrach's plea, while defense counsel Mr. O Odueso requested a short adjournment to file a bail application.

Shedrach pleaded not guilty to the charges. The court granted the request for adjournment, setting the next hearing for April 22, 2026, to hear the bail application, with the trial scheduled to commence on June 17, 2026.
