Brother Kills Sibling in Niger State Domestic Dispute

On February 17, 2023, a domestic dispute in Niger State resulted in the death of a 35-year-old man named Sani Bauchi. The altercation took place around 7:00 AM in Mohoro, located in the Dusai District.

During the disagreement, Sani Bauchi allegedly assaulted his younger brother, Isah Nathaniel, who then struck him with a stick, inflicting fatal injuries. Sani Bauchi was rushed to a general hospital in Bangi, where he was confirmed dead upon arrival.

His body has been deposited in the hospital's mortuary for an autopsy. Following the incident, police have arrested the suspect, Isah Nathaniel, and investigations into the matter are ongoing.
