Man Utd Secures £58.4m Deal for Chelsea's Andrey Santos

Manchester United has reached an agreement for the transfer of Chelsea midfielder Andrey Santos for a total fee of £58.4 million. This deal consists of a base fee of £56 million, with an additional £2.4 million in performance-related add-ons.

Chelsea is believed to have included a 10% sell-on clause in the agreement. Santos, who joined Chelsea from Brazil for £17 million in January 2022, has contributed three goals and five assists across 47 appearances for the club.

He made 12 starts in the Premier League but has faced challenges, including being overlooked for the Brazilian national team during the World Cup. The transfer comes amid concerns for Manchester United's midfield following Casemiro's departure to Saudi Arabia and Manuel Ugarte's confirmed ACL injury.
