Rodri Fined £80,000 for Comments on Referee Bias

He admitted to the charge of acting in an improper manner during a post-match media interview, where he implied a lack of integrity in match officiating. The FA's regulatory commission noted that Rodri sent two letters as part of his evidence; the first letter indicated that his words were misunderstood, while the second acknowledged that his comments fell below expected standards.

Rodri clarified that he did not intend to imply bias and expressed respect for referees, recognizing that his choice of words was poorly chosen.
