Rodri Open to Leaving Man City for Real Madrid

Rodri, a 29-year-old Spanish midfielder currently playing for Manchester City, has indicated that he does not dismiss the possibility of leaving the club for Real Madrid. His contract with Manchester City is gradually winding down as he approaches the final year of his deal, which he signed upon joining from Atlético Madrid in 2019.

Despite his past with Atlético, Rodri has made it clear that he is open to a move to a rival club. He has been an important player for Manchester City under coach Pep Guardiola, contributing to the team's success with 12 major trophies, including four Premier League titles and a UEFA Champions League title.

Rodri has featured in 18 league matches this season following his recovery from an anterior cruciate ligament rupture. Reports suggest that Real Madrid president Florentino Perez admires Rodri.

He is also part of the Spain national football team, recently called up by coach Luis de la Fuente for friendly matches against Serbia and Egypt as part of preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
